From January 2024, we have moved to 3 classes per night split by belt level, instead of two classes split by age. 

 

Belt splits

Beginners 

white belt to green tag

Intermediates

green belt to red tag

Advanced 

red belt to black belt

Beginners only

White belts to Green tags only

Beginners and Intermediates

Green belts to Red tags join the beginners

6pm
Intermediates and Advanced

Beginners leave, Red belts to Black belts join in

6.30pm

Advanced only

Intermediates leave, Advanced continue

7pm

Classes end 

​

Beginners start at 5pm.  At 5.30pm, the intermediate belts will join in.  At 6pm, the beginners will leave, and the advanced belts arrive.  At 6.30pm the intermediate belts  leave and the advanced belts continue until 7pm.
 

This arrangement provides all students with a much more focussed class than before, where we can have brand new beginners up to 2nd Dans in the same class.  With the best will in the world, 12 different belt levels in one class does not give you a good class.

If you cannot make the class time for your belt level, please speak to us and we can discuss it.  Students are also able to attend any of our 14 classes held each week across our locations in Banbury and Daventry.

There arebe more limited opportunities to talk to students and their families before and after their classes, but you can always email/call/text us if you're not able to speak to us in class.
