Reviews
Don't just take our word for it, see what others have said about Daventry Tigers Taekwondo:
Mark & Sarah Robson
Instructors
4th Degree Black Belts
Sarah and Mark have been training in Tae Kwon-do since 2006. They are fully qualified TAGB Instructors and Referees. They are both 4th Degree Black Belts. They both hold enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) certificates and are first-aid trained (and renewed every 3 years).
Daventry Tigers TKD was formed on the combination of both Daventry Tigers, the children's club for under 10s started by Mark and Sarah Robson in 2012, and Daventry TKD, the former club of World Master Jackson White senior, 8th Degree Black Belt, when he retired from running that club in January 2020.
Mark and Sarah have obtained consistently outstanding grading and competition results, and students include several local, English, British and even World Champions.
Sarah and Mark are assisted by a large team of Qualified Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Classroom Assistants, Junior Instructors and Junior Classroom Assistants. All instructors are fully insured, and all adult instructors have an Enhanced DBS Certificate and are First Aid trained (and renewed every 3 years).
Visitors from other clubs are often invited in, to keep things fresh and exciting - and in the case of some - making it difficult to walk for a couple of days afterwards!

Junior Instructors
These guys and girls are our role models for the younger ones. They have each now undergone 6 months of training on how to teach.
All have gained at least A grades in many of their own belt gradings, and several have gained exceptional A* grades. You could not wish to meet a nicer group of young people!
Having these amazing junior instructors means we have a high ratio of instructors to students. As a result we do incredibly well in both gradings and competitions, as we are able to provide almost individual attention to each student, and get the best out of each and every one.

Why Not?
With that in mind, there is no rush to get to black belt - we are not here simply to push people through gradings. We want to help them to learn and to teach them what it takes to persevere at something. We want to show them what it means to be courteous and respectful.
We give an outlet for excess energy and hopefully turn out strong people of integrity, fostering an indomitable spirit and strength of character that will help them stand out and achieve their full potential for the rest of their lives.
